- Frodo Baggins Start with a green tunic, brown pants, and hobbit feet (created by cutting the toes off of brown socks and stuffing with newspaper or foam). Don’t forget the One Ring, which you can easily make by painting a cheap plastic ring gold and adding the Elvish inscription with a black marker.
- Gandalf the White Gandalf the White is recognizable by his long white beard, pointy hat, and staff. You can find a wizard costume at a costume shop or create your own with a long white robe, white beard, and staff. The hat can be made with a pointy piece of foam attached to a plain black hat.
- Legolas Greenleaf For the dashing elf, Legolas Greenleaf, you’ll need a pair of pointy ears, a blonde wig, and an elven tunic. Don’t forget the bow and arrows!
- Aragorn The future King of Gondor, Aragorn, is easily recognizable by his long hair, cloak, and sword. You can find a costume at a costume shop or create your own with a long brown cloak, blonde wig, and a toy sword.
- Gimli Last but not least, we have Gimli the dwarf. Grab a bald cap, fake beard, and a dwarf costume. Don’t forget the axe!
- Boromir Boromir, the captain of Gondor, can be easily recognized by his horn and chainmail armor. You can find a costume at a costume shop or create your own with a chainmail shirt and a toy horn.
- Samwise Gamgee Samwise Gamgee, Frodo’s loyal friend, can be recreated with a brown tunic, brown pants, and hobbit feet. Don’t forget to add his gardening tools!
- Meriadoc Brandybuck Meriadoc Brandybuck, also known as Merry, can be recreated with a green tunic, brown pants, and hobbit feet. Add a pipe and you’re good to go!
