Halloween Costume Guide
The vainest animatronic in the Pizzaplex, built from a wig, shoulder pads, and a very specific attitude about being the best.
Roxanne Wolf is the Glamrock animatronic wolf in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach (2021), and her whole personality is that she is the best and she knows it. The costume is recognizable to FNAF fans, but at a general Halloween party you should expect to explain it. The wig is the non-negotiable piece. Everything else layers around it.

The wig is what people see first, and the green streak is what they key on. If the streak fades or washes out by hour two because you skipped the hairspray step, the most specific part of the look is gone. The shoulder pads are the second thing that gets read. A red-and-black outfit with no shoulder structure is just a rock singer. Wig plus epaulets together is when it becomes Roxy.
Roxy does not have a good opinion of anyone who is not Roxy. She walks like she just won something. At a party, this means you are not waiting to be recognized — you already know you’re the most interesting person in the room, and the expression on your face says so. If someone doesn’t know the character, do not explain it to them. Just raise one eyebrow and move on. That’s funnier and it’s more in character.
The Wig Ears Problem
Clip the wolf ears onto the wig before you put it on your head. If you clip them on after, you’re pressing down on the wig from above and it shifts forward every time. Do it in this order: wig on, positioned correctly, then ears clipped to the wig at the crown. Check it in a mirror. Once the wig is right, it won’t move much.
The Green Streak Timing
Apply the hair wax or color spray to the wig before you leave, not on arrival. Give it ten minutes to set, then hit it with the strong hairspray. Color wax on a synthetic wig can smear onto light-colored clothing for the first hour if you skip the setting step. Your shoulder epaulets will thank you.
The Mega Pizzaplex Performers
This is the strongest option if everyone in your group knows Security Breach. The four characters are visually distinct enough that no two people are wearing the same thing, and together they read as a clear theme. The catch is that Sundrop and Moondrop are harder builds. If someone half-commits on those two, the group loses cohesion fast.
Anthropomorphic Predators — Niche
This only works at an event where people are deep into animation and gaming. Death from Puss in Boots and Mr. Wolf from The Bad Guys have decent recognition. Legoshi from Beastars is a reach for most crowds. If you have to explain the theme when someone asks, the concept isn’t landing the way you hoped.
The Roxannes — Same Name
The shared-name concept is fun if everyone commits to it, but recognition varies a lot. Roxanne Ritchi from Megamind and Roxie Richter from Scott Pilgrim have a solid fanbase. Roxanne from A Goofy Movie will land for anyone who grew up in the 90s. Honestly, I think this group works better at a nerd-leaning event than a general Halloween party.
Egotistical Rock Stars — Niche
The theme is accurate for all four characters, but recognition at a general party is low. Marceline and Jem have recognizable designs. Envy Adams from Scott Pilgrim is a reach unless your crowd has seen the film recently. This group works best at a convention or a party where everyone’s already a fan of at least two of these franchises.

The wig, the shoulder epaulets, and the wolf ears and tail are items you need to source. The rest has some flexibility depending on what’s already in your wardrobe.
Roxy’s whole deal is that she has never once considered the possibility she might not be the best. You don’t need to explain this to anyone. You just need to act like it’s already settled.
Start with the grey curly wig and add a green streak using hair wax and strong hairspray. Add the red and black outfit, shoulder epaulets, leg warmers, and a studded choker. Wolf ears and tail go on last. Makeup with yellow-tinted eyes is optional but pushes the animatronic read further.
Her most quoted in-game lines:
That covers her entire personality. Every other memorable line she has is basically a variation on one of those two.
FNAF Security Breach came out in 2021 and still has an active fanbase, but Roxy is not the most recognized of the Glamrocks. Freddy and the Daycare Attendant get more attention in general conversation. At a gaming party or FNAF-adjacent crowd, you won’t need to explain it. At a general Halloween party, you probably will.
Yes, if recognition matters to you. Without the ears and tail, the red-and-black outfit and big hair reads as a generic rock musician. The ears and tail are what make it Roxy specifically. If you’re going for the humanized version and are fine with lower recognition, you can skip them.
Yes. Use green hair extensions instead of the grey wig, keep the red and black outfit and shoulder pads, and skip the wolf ears and tail. Recognition drops outside of dedicated FNAF fans, but the look is more comfortable for a long night and less fragile in a crowd.
Grey with a green streak is accurate to the character. Use the grey curly wig as the base, then apply green wax or spray to one streak at the front. Some people go all-green for a simpler build, but that’s a different read. The grey-and-green combination is what Roxy actually looks like.
